Free ACCUPLACER Prep That Starts Where You Are
ACCUPLACER is a set of placement tests from the College Board. Colleges use the scores to place students into the right courses. This page explains how the tests work and how to get ready for them, free.
What is ACCUPLACER?
ACCUPLACER has placement tests in reading, writing and math. It also has tests for English language learners.
SPARK helps you prep for these five ACCUPLACER tests:
How the tests work
The ACCUPLACER reading, writing and math tests are computer adaptive. Your score is based on how hard each question is and whether you answer it correctly. You must answer every question.
Each of these five tests has 20 questions, except Writing, which has 25.
Scores range from 200 to 300.
The tests are generally untimed, so you can work at your own pace. The school or test center giving your test will confirm.
